a very nice old town. made the trip here twice. first time was to see jesus and the second time was to get away and be somewhere quiet for christmas. glad i did. it was raining the 1st time and foggy the 2nd time. but it eventually cleared up and became a very beautiful 3 days here.

first thing i noticed is that there is a church in almost every corner. so many churches for just a small town. fascinating though. some has been converted into museums, some into a bar and even some into a club. how cool is that. there is a river that surrounds the town. a bit polluted. i always thought pollution in rivers and on the streets were an asia thing but after coming to this side of the world, hell no. its universal. where there are human existence, there is litter. hehe

spent christmas here. exactly how i wanted it to be. quiet. nice to be walking around when there are hardly anyone around. everything was closed. the only restaurants that were opened was either kebabs or chinese. we opted for chinese instead. chinese food here is interesting. they look different to what i m used to but taste exactly the same ! hah !
