so, i don't believe i left nyc. it seems very distance now and i am glad i went from nyc to spain. if i had gone home, i'd probably be in a all time low. once again thank you for showing me around nyc, taking me places where i cant possibly reach.
i hope all goes well for you with you relocating and all.

did a day trip up to bilbao. It is a very sculptural city. the landscape is beautifully designed and well maintained. a trip up to the guggenheim is totally worth it. not for the exhibition but the building itself. seeing american are here in spain is kinda wrong. also they have similar collection here with dia:beacon (the huge steel circles at the basement), the pile of candy (the carpenter center in boston), matthew barney cremation collection 1-5 etc. but once again, gehry's building does look good with me.

it was also worth while walking around bilbao. interesting little town with some interesting things to find at certain corners.

Hey Jxe, thanks for writing to me. so envy you are having a good time in Spain....my apologies for never properly say a little goodbye to you the night before you left nyc. you showed me another dimension of the city that i would otherwise not even aware.
it's getting colder these days (if that would help you to get nyc out of your mind). we just had a snow storm the past weekend and the city is a mess again. yike! safe trip and stay warm!
